PRODE and iDAELab supporting VII Market of Entrepreneurial Ideas @ UDG!

Tuesday, April 4th, 2017.
University of Donja Gorica is one of the first supporters of student entrepreneurship in Montenegro. Therfore, guided by the Professor's equation, where the student's ability is equal to the knowledge gained, multiplied by the intensity of living squared (S=z·i²), Student Business Center in cooperation with the foundation "Freedom & Entrepreneurship" continues its, now traditional, entrepreneurial-oriented projects, which are, every year, more and more, confirming that luck really follows the ready ones!

Market of entrepreneurial ideas is a place where the “Supply” and “Demand” encounter. On the „Supply” side are entrepreneurial ideas of students, which can be auctioned by a “demand”, represented by the most successful companies and institutions from Montenegro and the region, willing to invest in new business ideas. Depending on the quality of ideas, which should present synergy of courage and creativity of students, the best 11 ideas will have the opportunity to be presented to "Demand" on the Day of Europe - May 09, 2017.

Traditionally, presentation of student ideas, is followed by an auction for the ideas.

The best 30 ideas will also be presented in the seventh edition of the book "Book of ideas."

Every year,  Market of Entrepreneurial Ideas UDG gathers applications from different parts of the country and the region. The event  is supported by two laboratories of UDG – PRODE and iDEALab. Both  Laboratories aim to develop students business ideas and provide  an opportunity to students to test their skills by developing 3D prototypes. All the ideas from the VII Stock market of entrepreneurial ideas will have the opportunity to use facilities of these two laboratories. In addition, the team of mentors from these Laboratories will be on student’s disposal with goal of prototype development. The online platform for entrepreneurial ideas is in development process. Platform will be created with a support of partners from the region, therefore students have the opportunity to present, raise funds and find partners for development of their ideas at regional level.
