On December 12, 2016, ProDe has signed its first Confidential Disclosure Agreement, protecting the rights of a Client.

ProDe Laboratory currently operates on Trial- Run Mode. Trial-run is considered to be a training phase of commercialization within the Project funded through HERIC. It is expected that this phase will end on May 31, 2017. During the Trial-Run, ProDe is not charging for its services. The activities during this time-frame are considered to be educational exercises, with the goal to help ProDe staff gain experience and to help in future commercialization challenges. For this particular assignment, consumer will cover only the cost of material used for printing.

Client has created a 3D model using software 3D StudioMax. Protected file of the 3D model customer has made available to ProDe staff, for further adjustment, exporting to STL file and 3D printing on FDM printer. Series of quality adjustment tests, printer step-size definition, spill-out reductions and model parting, will precede the final 3D printing. The aim of these tests is to provide optimal visual and mechanical characteristics of the final printout.

Confidential Disclosure Agreement signed between ProDe and the customer is accompanied by Employee Confidentiality agreements signed by ProDe staff. Business Model of operation of Laboratory, covering the provided services, falls under Access Production Business Model, declared as one of two favorites, in the Study of ProDe Lab Commercialization and Sustainability.
