MILOCER DEVELOPMENT FORUM 2016

 

The Forum has been attended by PRODE team members

Association of Economists and Managers of Montenegro (DEMCG) in cooperation with UDG Centre for Climate change, natural resources and energy and Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) organized XXI Milocer Development Forum from 12th -14th September in hotel “Grand” on Cetinje. Topic: Education for Sustainable Development. DEMCG has been cherishing the tradition of first association of economists of Montenegro since 1954, alliance of economists of Montenegro (1963-2002) and alliance of economists 2002-2012. Mission of this Association is development of economic thought and practice in Montenegro and the region in the light of global megatrends of economic and Social Development. This year's topic: "Education for Sustainable Development" is one of the most modern area, which contributes to solving social challenges through research, education and innovation. The aim of the organizers of the meeting was to open topics in economics and business of the new era. The era in which ideas become become fully convertible currency! Or, Forum aims to open up a new way of thinking and understanding of the new development paradigm of the open society based on the evolutionary principles. The Forum has been attended by more than 350 managers, economists, ministers of the Montenegro government, professors and students from various universities of Montenegro. The Prime minister of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Dukanovic, also took part and spoke in the Forum.
